Gizmo Gone Bad (version 1)

From our latest album “Don’t Feed The Dinosaurs Jesus” released December 2008. This song is about Gizmo from the cult films gremlins and Gremlins 2 : The New Batch, actually turning evil and becoming a gremlin himself. The song was kind of a parody on Michael Jackson songs. This video is the first version simply because it’s the Tetsuo Kaji edit, which is the song mixed with clips from the two movies.

Joe Dante’s ‘Gremlins 2: The New Batch’ is certainly one of the wackiest sequels ever made. It has a huge amount of self referencing comedy, slapstick and some really creepy scenes. This light hearted sequel to the 1984 horror/comedy ‘gremlins‘ takes place in a New York office building. Ran by millionair Daniel Clamp (John Glover)it has everything from a cable network to a genetics lab which is leaded by the great Christopher Lee as Dr. Catheter. When Gizmo’s owner Mr. Wing (Key Luke) passes away the poor Mogwai is taken to the Clamp Center. There he is found by none other but Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) and Kate Beringer (Phoebe Cates) who try to keep him safe. However Gizmo doesn’t obey and within minutes he spawns a new batch of evil Mogwais headed by the reincarnation of Stripe: Mohawk.
And soon enough the Clamp Center is overrun by Gremlins, who seem to be very sensitive to genetic manipulation.
The soundtrack is once again from Jerry Goldsmith, who delivers an inventive and really wacky score.

The exact same bass samples used here appear in several other games of theirs, including, but not limited to, Batman: Return of the Joker, Journey to Silius, and Hebereke.

Two scenes in one! Marla (Haviland Morris) conveniently backs into spider-gremlin’s web and gets stuck. Kate (Phoebe Cates) comes to help her – but the spider strikes! A great scene in one of my favourite films. I didn’t do the edit, I just found the vid, can’t remember where – but if it’s yours, let me know and you’ll be credited/I’ll take it down for you

They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:
Story Accuracy to the Movie 3 out of 10
(Cutscenes and Bosses match up, nothing else really will though.)
Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 2 out of 10
(The music is way too happy and cute for my likes. Its good music for a game boy game but not good for the moments and situation we are supposed to be in. Just didnt seem to match up too well.)
Game Difficulty 1 out of 10
(This game is way too hard for a game boy adaptation. A kids game should not be this frustrating and difficult by any means no matter what type of system it is on. Sunsoft should have done better here as this is way too hard.)
Overall Fun 2 out of 10
(Not an overall disaster as far as fun goes but it may as well be. There isnt much fun to be had here besides the need to have a challenge and enjoy some nice graphics or another take on the film in pint sized black and white situations. I didnt have much fun playing it, maybe others will fare better)
