Just a quick update on the giz sculpture. Quality isnt the best as it was taken from my iphone, so a lot of details can not be seen. I haven’t been able to work on him for months. But I’ll only have 3 jobs instead of 4 in about a months time, so I should eventually have some spare time to really get back into my sculpting and makeup effects.

Here’s another quick update. I’ve decided to roughly sculpt the body out of water based clay first. From that, I will make a two piece mold and then make a super sculpy copy. I’ve done this because I started using sculpy to do the body and found that I was using way too much. It’s expensive stuff, so this way I’ll only use about a quarter of what I would have ended up using. I have just about finished the head. There are parts that look burnt. But that’s fine. They haven’t altered the shape and won’t show up in the final castings. I’ve done a quick photoshop coloring test on some photos I took and when he is finished and painted he will look quite good. The pics and videos don’t look anywhere near as good as he does in the flesh. That’s just due to lighting and different angles make him look quite odd. But up close he looks fine.
